DEDICATION TO TRADITION & BEYOND

It is my mission to provide the best pilates methods and educational services, precise protocols and diverse instructional techniques to inspire the whole community, offering experiential learning and motivational coaching to facilitate somatic awareness through the mindful practice of pilates exercise. I am dedicated to the creation and facilitation of pilates programs that are fun and effective, designed to inform both novice and professionals, any and all levels of experience.

My pedagogical methods are inclusive, engaging and accessible, utilizing a variety of effective pilates formats, various movement and communication techniques, literal descriptions and figurative metaphors, clear explanations and explicit demonstrations, comprehensive directives and lucid illustrations. No matter what your level of experience or learning style, I aspire to encompass a broad and articulate orientation toward your pilates experience and performance utilizing a host of verbal, visual, and tactile teaching methods. I apply a variety of creative techniques and practical movement sequences in conjunction with various cuing options and hands on correctional adjustments.

As your professional trainer together we will attend to achieving proper biomechanics and sound exercise form hoping to elicit an energized holistic understanding of movement form and healing inspirations, emphasizing cognitive integrations of logical and intuitive experience engendered through subjective sensations of embodied somatic awareness.


For Joseph H. Pilates living happy and fit was simple. It was “the attainment and maintenance of a uniformly developed body as well as a sound mind, fully capable of naturally, easily and satisfactorily performing our many varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure.”


Through my active pedagogy I aspire to educate all my clientele and aspiring students so they can achieve the healthy fit body they have always dreamt of, but, more significantly, I believe practicing pilates is about encouraging your heart and soul to soar with the joy of greater personal empowerment and sentient freedom, enhanced through awareness of one’s truly authentic and healthy somatic embodiment.
